A Guided tour through the societies beating heart
Step back in time with the Blockhouse Bay Historical Society and discover the story of Armanasco House, the heart and home of our society.
This beautifully restored Kauri farmhouse is not just a building; it’s a living piece of Blockhouse Bay’s past. Built in 1890 by Italian immigrant Stefano Armanasco and his wife Maria, it served as the family’s farm homestead for decades.
Join us for our very first video as we explore the architecture, the history, and the lasting legacy of the Armanasco family, whose name is forever linked to this treasured corner of our suburb.
Thank you Ian Printy for this amazing Video.
